In the Settings section, the account administrator will be able to select specific data to be masked. This will apply to all of the sections on the web: dialogs, contact groups, reports, etc. (Does not include audios).
When you enter Settings, in the Security tab, you'll see a section called Masked Data Fields. In this section, you can add different data fields to protect them throughout the entire web.
What are masked data fields?
Every field you protect will be displayed throughout the web with its contents masked. For example, instead of seeing a complete credit card number, you would be seeing it like this: *******39.
To add a masked data field, you must click on "Add data fields" in the Masked Data Fields section. This will open a lateral window or aside.
You must click on "Add data field" and type the title of the data field that you wish to mask.
There are 2 types of masking: Exact Coincidence and Contains the Word.
Exact Coincidence
If you enter "Name", all of the columns with the title "Name" will be masked. However, a column called "FirstName" or "FullName" would not be masked, since it is not an exact match to "Name".
Contains the Word
If you enter "Name", all of the columns that contain "Name" in their titles will be masked. In this case, a column called "FirstName" or "FullName" would be masked because it contains the word "Name" in the title.
Once you have added the data fields you wish to mask, you must save the chances to make them effective.
